The last week

Hello every one, this is the last day that I will write in these years

The topic of today is English language changes during this period. First one, I think that I improve my English a lot, do the blog permit practice all week and have a continuing work about this subject. The English of the University was a opportunity to me for relation whit the English of a good form. Years ago in the school I hate the English and was a very difficult for me pass the English.

 On the other hand, I think that the video was a useful tool to learn, because use a technology support, and that is more enjoyable.

Equally I need improve some aspect to speak English, in general my grammatical is bad, and is difficult for me listen person and understand quickly that they say. For this in the future I would like register in a course of English, to realize a test that certify my learning’s.  I would love can study outside of Chile in some country whit English idiom. I am sure that see a movies in English and listen song is a good method to learn.

Unfortunately in the majority of days I don´t use the English, because my friends don´t speak English and I feel embarrassed when I try speak. I believe that was a good idea, go to bar where you can interchange idiom and know people.

There are a lot of ideas I hope accomplish some one!! bye

Changes to my study programme

In the last week’s i ask me about my career, my experience in the Universidad the Chile and specially, my study programme. Because is very important think about that before of finish this process.

I has thought about the curriculum of Psychology in Universidad de Chile and  I considered that in the first semester the subject was very far to skill that you need to are psychologist. For example, we had a very general subject and I believe that not is benefit to the professional training. Also in these years the workload did a terrible and much people feel bad in this time. Before the second year, the workload was low and personality I think that the subject was more interesting.

Other point to consider is that the length of studies, psychology is a very long career. In other country, the people study four year and before do the master (one years of length, totally 5 years.), but in Chile for do the same you need study seven years.

In relation to faculty facilities, unfortunately our faculty is scarcity, much time we don´t have a study room, and this is disgraceful. The positive to the old infrastructure are that the student, put a poster an painting in the wall, and this generate an institutional identity.

 I think that I like the teaching methods in general, because the teacher looks how we can teach of different ways. And we don’t doing only alternative test, we do a  reflection and experiential activities.

Finally in the psychology don’t use a lot the technology, but in some subject the teachers try to use, for example I “inclusive education”, ask a question whit kahoot platform.

I hope that mi formation is good because I need express lot of the skill in my practice.

Summer holidays

Today i will talk about my summer holydays. Unfortunately the past week i talk the same topic. For this reason i think that should go in depth about the first month of holidays. 

In December i planner travel to my house in Osorno, i would like visit place next to my city whit my family, for example Puerto Varas, Cascadas or Valdivia. Also i want meet whit my friends, and perhaps go some beach how Cascadas. 

In January 11 travel to Santiago because i have the test of English (this is a bad announce for me) and i suppose that take advantage to see some friends and change my things to my new home (i have move in December because the department that i live will sell). Then I want come back to Osorno and stay whit my family especially whit my little brother.  Beside I want rest, sleep, see a lot of movie and go to party.

In addition, is a good moment to pass a free time whit my boyfriend without worry. I think that we can go to Maicolpue beach for some day’s whit our friends. In this summer is very important for,  me rest because the next year whit the practice I will very busy.

I love that in February my family would can travel to Santiago then that I come back from Rio. But I don’t know if this is possible.

 Finally I believe that is very important visit to my grandparents in Chillan, i am very close whit them and I miss a lot spend time whit my family.

My next holidays

Hello every one, today i will talk about my next holidays.  This years I feel very emotional because I want go to Osorno in January. In Osorno live my parents and my brother, and I the last month I don´t could travel to visit. For me is very important because I miss they very much and I want feel relax in my house. Also in Osorno live my friends of the school and I want meet whit they. I have a lot of wish of play whit Martin (My brother), that my father cooking tasty plates and talk a long time whit my mom. Unfortunality the test of English is in the first days of this month, and I will travel again to Santiago to doing.

In February I will go whit my best friend Catalina to Rio de Janeiro. We have a lot of activities to do.  First one, we will go to Cristo Redentor and swimming in Coapacabana beach,  then drink a Mojito and dance whit the fabulous Brazilian music. In the next days, we thinking go to Buzios and visit the beautiful beach .  Besides, I would like realize aquatic sport in the sea. Finally we come back on 16 of February.

I waiting that this holidays will can amazing, because the next years is very hard in relation of studies. I will have that do the practice, the diploma course and do my thesis. I hope feel in holiday forever.

My postgraduate studies

Hello again,

Today I will talk about the postgraduate studies that I would like to do in the future.

First, I would take a postgraduate course, because I like studying a lot and I think it is important to specialize after studying psychology. Also, I believe that the people never finish to learn and  is important innovate knowledge.

The area that interest me, is related to the arts in psychology, specifically, work with the body. For example I would like to learn about dance movement therapy (DMT), about alba emoting and other bodywork like Mindfulness. These specializations are located abroad, and the University of Barcelona is one of the places where they teach it. Because of this, I think that I would have to go abroad to study.

 Also, I would like to take a master in therapy with children from the systemic area. I know that in Italy there is a master of this type.

 Finally I would love to be able to study part time, because I could travel in my free time. Also, if I want to study postgraduate studies I need to have money to support myself, so I have to work.

I still do not know what I want do after finishing my career, but I  have many dreams to do, related to the career.

My future job

Hello every one, today i will talk about my future job.

Sincerely, I will hope work in different place, because I don’t like stay in the same place all the time. After of finish my career, I would want work with children and adolescent in a psychologist program, specifically in a COSAM.  I am interesting in pre-emptive program and do clinic attention. I like this kind of work because you can stay in the office the middle of time and go outdoors to doing home-visit. The objective of go outdoors is know the context of the person and identify the resources (social and economic) that have the family. Also, you realize the visit whit a social duet, for example, with a social worker or occupational therapist. Years later I would study my master outside the country, perhaps in Spain or Italy. I think study all of time, but personally I would like do the master in corporal therapy. Until this moment, I feel that is a part of psychologist that has little development and I would want know more of it.

 I hope have an enough salary to travel each year. I would love that my work is relation with the travel because I would accomplish my dreams: visit different place of the world.

Then of study the master I would like work how a university teacher in the south of Chile. I imagine very happy in the different jobs, but is important for me have a time to do things that likes outsides my work, therefor is indispensable that my work permit this.

The election of my career

Hello again. I hope they are well.

today I will talk about  the reason about I chose my career.

The truth is that I was always sure that I liked the humanistic area.  I was afraid of blood, so I could not be a biologist and I don´t not like mathematics very much.

However, I  had many interests  such as law or social work. But after obtaining my results from the PSU, I decided to apply to psychology as the first option, in different universities  because I was very interested in the work that psychologists did and the way  that they helped people. I think have a subject at school about psychology, helped me to decide for this career.

Fortunately my parents supported me in the decision to choose my career, and also helped me move from Osorno to Santiago to study at the University of Chile, be it easy.

Although it is not a very profitable career, because salaries are not Hight I know that with this I can achieve my dreams. One of this dreams is,  work in children  center or in schools, improving the different areas that they need.

 Until this moment, I think that studying psychology was the best option, I don´t  imagine myself in another area. I really like the work that is done with families and especially with children.

My favorite movie is Black swam. This film first realase in 2010, but  i see in this year because i had a homework of the university when ask me for it. I believed that is a usual film, but not was like this. Is a film of psycolgyst suspense and sign the dark part of the illnes psychological. Some actor that participate are  Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis. With this film Portam win the Oscar and the Golden Glove awards.

 The black swam  talk about a young girl that love dance and participate in a company of ballet. She feel depressed because the company mean a big pressure and the relationship with your mother is very difficult.

Pheraps is a film that cause a anxiety in the spectator but telling very good how  feels the person that have  some disorder, such as a  schizophrenia. Suddenly,  make a critique about the kinds of communication that cause a disorder. In this case, express how the way communication with your mum is negative for her. Personality, I feel that this film help me  to understand the suffering an pain that some negative context produced for a person with this affliction.

My best holidays

Hello everyone, today i am writing about my best holidays. Five years ago in December whit my class we went to Camboriu for one week. We are very excited for this travel because it was a only one opportunity to was together. The travel was organize for agency and everyday had activities. Something that i remember was a foam party in a discoteque the name Eclipse and one visited to mud plays. All the night we went to the beach, drank mojitos and eat corncob. Also there was a lot of people of other nationality and talked with they about your origin and tradition.Other days we walked around the city and went to important place how  " the cristo luz" or San Miguel promenade.The best place that we visited was a “yurere” beach, because we get around in a pirate ship and danced zumba during to the trip. The most important for me was go with my friends and enjoy this incredible landscape. Unfortunately I sleep little time in this days because we had wake up early to go activities planned, anyway, was a beautiful experience.

Malta

Hello everyone, Mi name is Sayen Villanueva and today i speak  about a country i would like to visit.
In the last year i had the oportunity to knew different place in Europa, but for other reason i could not visit Malta.
Malta  is a small country near to Italia with a beautiful beach. Much people say that look like to Grecia because have a similar building. Personality i like too much the greek culture and when i listen this, i wanted visit.
The most of people that live here is young,  is a turistic place and on internet read that the party are very enjoyable.
 If i will can go, i would like swimming on the beach and visit the different park recognize of UNESCO.
Also, i want go because i listen that is the best part to learn English.  Beside,  the young people can work on the morning in Hotel or resort and in the evening meeting whit friends come from to different place of the world. This is very important for
my, because I think that is useful to grow as a person
To the next years I love go, and improve my English!!
