Hello again. I hope they are well.
today I will talk about the reason about I chose my career.
The truth is that I was always sure that I
liked the humanistic area. I was afraid
of blood, so I could not be a biologist and I don´t not like mathematics very
much.
However, I
had many interests such as law or
social work. But after obtaining my results from the PSU, I decided to apply to
psychology as the first option, in different universities because I was very interested in the work
that psychologists did and the way that
they helped people. I think have a subject at school about psychology, helped
me to decide for this career.
Fortunately my parents supported me in the
decision to choose my career, and also helped me move from Osorno to Santiago
to study at the University of Chile, be it easy.
Although it is not a very profitable
career, because salaries are not Hight I know that with this I can achieve my
dreams. One of this dreams is, work in children
center or in schools, improving the
different areas that they need.
Until this moment, I think that
studying psychology was the best option, I don´t imagine myself in another area. I really like
the work that is done with families and especially with children.
Wow, i want to work with childrens too!, particularly in the young kid clinical area
